Built in 1801, the Walser house at Giassa 10 in Surrein is an impressive witness to ancient craftsmanship. In keeping with this tradition, we have replaced the approximately 180-year-old windows with modern insulating glass, local larch wood and whitewashed linseed oil putty. Where the original front windows were missing, we have faithfully reconstructed them with the typical drawn glass and fish tape hinges.
