In 1906, architect Adolf Gaudy built the Indra House in a straightforward Art Nouveau style that captivates with its straight lines and clear forms. During the renovation in 2019, we replaced the unsuitable plastic windows with wooden ones that had been reconstructed in keeping with the style, based on original plans. We were able to upgrade the leaded windows’ energy efficiency with double-glazed insulating glass. The overall appearance of the house has thus clearly improved and is said to be more original, appealing and coherent.
